Staffing at Newcombe House

Newcombe House works to a genuinely multi-disciplinary model with staff from a number of professional backgrounds including psychiatric nursing and social work. There is also access to psychiatry, clinical psychology, family therapy, aftercare worker, creative therapies and counselling.

There is a core group of residential staff and senior practitioners who provide both high staffing ratios and therapeutic care through the development of therapeutic relationships. Care is individualised and places great emphasis on building alternative coping strategies and ego-strength. Each client works with a case manager and a key worker who co-ordinates their care and prepares the alliance agreement in conjunction with them.
